The Vineyard at Florence offers Texas the first country development where lifestyle, scenery, nature, viticulture, technology and outstanding services combine to create a distinctive community. The Vineyard encompasses approximately 30 acres of grapes, providing area residents and visitors spectacular vistas from home sites and the tasting villa. A combination of red and white varietals, including Norton/Cynthiana, Black Spanish, Cabernet and Blanc du Bois, were planted in the spring of 2007. We are grateful for the huge support we received from local community members and friends who planted The Vineyard on March 17th and 18th, 2007.

Situated 35 minutes north of Austin, the development includes over 600 acres with 30 acres of vineyards, rolling Hill Country, organic herb fields, mature oak and elm trees and fenced pastures. Gracious living and Italian architecture provide a dream-like setting for full-time residents as well as the perfect weekend or holiday retreat for a second home or villa.

The Vineyard community is distinct from any other in Austin, offering modern amenities to residents within a traditional setting. Residential amenities include Villa Firenze, Villa Verde, miles of Riding and Walking Trails and a Covered Riding Arena.

The wine tasting facility, Villa Firenze, provides residential meeting space for Vineyard landowners and guests. Nestled in the hillside of the residential community, Villa Verde combines relaxation with rejuvenation. Swim, relax in the sun, or exercise in the pool or fitness areas surrounded by rolling country side and breath taking vineyard views. Picturesque Riding and Walking Trails run throughout the 600 acres and connect to the Covered Riding Arena.
