Hours of Operation for Wine Tasting 08.01.2010 Our Wine Tasting Hours are: Thursdays: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm Fridays: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm Saturdays: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm Sundays: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm Our Bissinger's Chocolate Experience and Cafe Hours are: Thursdays: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm Fridays: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm Saturdays: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm Sundays: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm We offer two flights for wine tasting. We also offer a variety of other wines, and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass. Our Cafe currently offers light fare including panini(sandwiches), salads, soups and meat and cheese boards. Exquisite boxed and individual handcrafted chocolates are available in our Bissinger's Chocolate Experience Cafe. The Spa is open by appointment Thursdays - Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our Art Gallery 08.01.2010 Walk through our Art Gallery and see works by local stone carvers. The perfect gift for yourself or a loved one, for much of the art in the building is for sale. Also be sure to view the art from artists in Florence, Italy and handcrafted pots by Russell Mott which is all for sale, located in our Reserve Room. Currently in our Gallery view works by Beau David Whitaker. Whitaker grew up the fifth generation on a family farm near Nashville, Tennessee. As a young man he spent as much time as possible outdoors, both working on the farm with the horses, cattle, and sheep as well as enjoying various outdoor activities. Beau also showed much interest in art from an early age, whether it was drawing, painting, or sculpting. Beau attended Oklahoma State University where he took beginning courses in drawing and sculpting. After attaining a BS in Animal Science for OSU, Beau trained horses professionally for Mike McMillian in Gainsville, Texas. After a year of training horses, Beau started veterinary school at Texas A&M. During veterinary school, Beau spent the summers in Germany and Brazil training horses and learing from veterinarians. While in Brazil, he saw a horse that he later drew in pencil during his third year of veterinary school. This drawing sparked interest from friends and family who encouraged him to make prints. Beau has continued to draw horses and western themed art and has since explored other media, including watercolor and acrylics. Since graduation from veterinary school, Beau has practiced as an equine veterinarian in Arizona; the 6666's Ranch in Guthrie, Texas; and now in Salado, Texas where he resides with his wife Ashley and daughters Peyton and Kaydence. Beau's experiences and his daily work with horses show through in the details of his art.
