Wine Tasting

Like the Italian architecture that inspired it, the wine tasting villa, Villa Firenze, evokes style and grace overlooking the vineyard and polo field, beckoning us to visit. The interior is decorated in simple Italian style, while the outside decking offers tremendous vistas of the vineyard, polo matches, lush strolling herb gardens, arbors and terraces.

Villa Firenze is a relaxing destination for wine tasting in Austin. This unique community offers a tasting room where residents and visitors together may sample wine tiers, house blends, special reserves and imports and domestics of wine and beer. The tasting villa also hosts a series of educational programs, cultural exhibits, and performing arts events. Come to Villa Firenze as a destination to entertain family, guests, and business associates.

Private Events

The Vineyard is a desired venue for corporate retreats and private functions. We offer beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for any event. The luxurious european style Villa Firenze can accommodate your event in one of our private rooms or anywhere on the Vineyard property. You and your guest will have full vineyard access to Villa Firenze, the winery, the villas, and infiniti pool. In addition, our Cafe staff can provide deliciously prepared meals for your event, or we have professionals chefs available as well. If you prefer, we can accommodate your own personal chef and catering company to cater to your event. Our experienced staff is here to make your event a tremendous success.

In addition, we offer many outstanding classes. Some of the topics of our classes have been: wine education and training, wine and food pairing, refining your culinary skills in our gourmet kitchen, deepening your yoga practice, organic farming, or learning more about successfully operating your own business. Classes range from single day classes to weekend seminars and retreats.

Music

Join us for private House Concerts and Musical Festivals at The Vineyard at Florence. Intimate House Concerts allow you to see up and coming artists in a personalized venue and will be kept to a maximum of 80 people and held in the Harvest Room in Villa Firenze. Larger outdoor Musical Festivals in our amphitheatre, on our polo field, and overlooking the vineyard will feature varied artists. Upon opening, we will begin by highlighting area musical artists.

The Wine Shop

Come experience an old world greeting as you enter the Wine Shop. History surrounds you. Massive, aged barn trusses and beams that were masterfully crafted, frame the ceiling, sturdily secured by traditional timber frame joinery. Here you are welcomed to taste a selection of regional and international wines and selected beers as our knowledgeable staff assists you. Visit the Wine Shop often, since wine selections will change on a monthly basis and specials change weekly.

The Art Gallery

Intimate gallery space flanks the two main hallways in Villa Firenze. The Gallery is used to introduce promising and established artists’ works to the community. Gala events will be held for all artists’ openings.

The Polo Lounge

Club seating creates a relaxed, intimate setting that is ideal for visiting with friends or for a private party. Cozy up to the fire on a chilly evening with a glass of port or sit and discuss the latest polo match with other aficionados. The Polo Lounge is a perfect rental venue for those who desire a small group gathering that offers flexible seating arrangements and a casual atmosphere.

The Reserve Room

The Reserve Room is an exclusive room in Villa Firenze that will be open to Wine Club members or rented for private events. Café seating creates a comfortable environment where adults can mingle with other wine enthusiasts to share the experience of drinking wine and beer. Wine Club members will be allowed private label storage which can be viewed from inside the Reserve Room.

The Harvest Room

The Harvest Room, Gourmet Kitchen and Café all share space under another piece of barn history. The barn structure divides the rooms, making each space unique and inviting.

The Harvest Room offers both openness and height, with exposed ceiling beams and a view of the internal barn structure. It is a flexible space that will be available for private events, educational seminars and wellness classes. It is ideal air-conditioned space that can be leased in combination with outside terrace areas for weddings and other events./

The Wine Club

Stay as involved as you would like in the wine making process, from cultivating to harvesting the grapes. The Wine Club offers a unique opportunity of learning about all aspects of grape growing and wine production. Added benefits include wine storage at Villa Firenze, receiving your own private wine label each year and special Reserve Room access for events. This exclusive club membership will be open to both residents and community members who are interested in working in the vineyard to help produce the wine and to those who just enjoy the end result.

The Gourmet Kitchen

Add to your cooking repertoire by taking a cooking class from a guest chef in the Gourmet Kitchen. Celebrity and guest chefs will offer a variety of cooking classes for all levels and also cater private dinners for community members. The kitchen may also be leased for individual use for dinner parties or in conjunction with other bookings (weddings, rehearsal dinners, events in the Harvest Room, etc.)

Bissinger’s Chocolate Experience and Cafe

Bissinger’s Chocolate Experience and Café serves light fare to include gourmet sandwiches, salads, soups, breads, coffee, teas and decadent desserts. Small café tables make ideal dining inside, while larger parties may enjoy outside patio areas. Bissinger’s Chocolate Experience also offers European chocolates made by hand, sold individually or in gift boxes. The Cafe allows visitors the opportunity to create their own picnic from café offerings and enjoy it under one of our mature live Oak trees.
